We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Director – Advertising & Brand Partnerships (Director Marketing) to lead our advertising revenue and brand collaboration initiatives for FMCG. This role will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships, expanding advertising sales across multiple channels, and building long-term relationships with leading brands across industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Growth & Strategy
- Develop and execute advertising sales strategies to drive revenue growth across digital, print, and OOH platforms
- Identify new monetization opportunities in retail media and brand partnerships
- Brand Partnerships
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers across FMCG, beauty, F&B, and retail brands
- Lead end-to-end partnership discussions, negotiations, and closures
- Advertising Sales
- Drive sales across multiple formats including newspaper, digital, and out-of-home (OOH) advertising
- Conceptualize and sell integrated advertising solutions tailored to client needs
- Retail Media & Activations
- Develop innovative retail media solutions such as in-store advertising, shelf placements, and consumer activations
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute high-impact campaigns
- Client Management
- Ensure long-term client retention through strong relationship management and consistent value delivery
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients on marketing and branding initiatives
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor the advertising sales team
- Foster a high-performance, entrepreneurial, and growth-oriented culture
Key Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in advertising sales, brand partnerships, or retail marketing
- Strong network across FMCG, beauty, F&B, and retail brand marketing teams
- Proven track record in:
- Newspaper, digital, or OOH advertising sales
- Retail media (in-store ads, shelf placements, partnerships)
- Brand collaborations and consumer activations
- Demonstrated success in closing large deals and building long-term partnerships
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with media agencies, retail chains, or digital platforms
- Strong understanding of evolving advertising trends and consumer behavior
- MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus
